Welcome to LTEN Connect 2020

WELCOME LETTER – Christine Gaudet

I hope you plan to join us for this exciting new event.

It’s been a rather hectic spring with a lot of unusual stresses on the training industry, most especially the COVID-19 outbreak. But with business not quite returning to usual, it’s my special honor to introduce you to LTEN Connect 2020. Against all odds, and from worldwide locations, our industry has once again come together to create a special event where we can learn, network and grow together.

This new virtual training forum offers a great deal of valuable content specifically targeted toward your needs as a life sciences trainer, without the need to travel. You’ll have access to workshops, micro-learning sessions (or Learning Labs), keynotes and LTEN Talks.

You’ll have the chance to virtually connect with and learn valuable lessons from your peers, and share specific needs and address daily challenges.

LTEN Connect makes it easy to plan your time to take advantage of the available resources that support the objectives for your own development as a trainer. With programs running for a few hours per day on June 9, 10 and 11, you’ll have easy access that fits your day.

LTEN designed the event to support your needs with learning, networking and inspiration, and you’ll have multiple opportunities to engage with your colleagues.

You’ll also want to attend the 6th annual LTEN Excellence Awards ceremony on June 10 to learn from and support the innovative work your industry peers are producing. And you’ll most certainly want to spend time in the Learning Village exhibit hall and meet with the suppliers and partners who provide your training solutions.

I hope you plan to join us for this exciting new event. Please enjoy this special issue of LTEN Focus on Training magazine, as we give you a sneak peek at LTEN Connect, introduce you to our keynote speakers and share with you some advice on how to maximize your virtual experience.

As with any training that you roll out to your learners, success starts with a plan.  Be sure to view the agenda on page 23 or at www.LTENconnect.com, to decide which sessions you’ll want to attend, which workshops offer the most value for your needs and where you’ll find the best networking opportunities.

Looking forward to seeing you online!
